Soothing Immunity Night Time Tea
This tea is not only great for soothing a sore throat, clearing sinuses, and aiding in clearing congestion in general, but is an excellent addition to a pre-bed time regimen that will aid in a healthy lifestyle. This tea is best enjoyed hot.
Ingredients Needed:
- 12oz (1 1/2cup) of pure water
- 2 Bags of Purity Organic's Sleep Chamomile Tea
- 1 Teaspoon of Ginger Soothe Colorado Hemp Honey
- 1 Lemon Wedge
- A Small Pinch of Turmeric Powder or 3-4 drops of turmeric tincture.
- 2 Leaves of Fresh Mint
Instructions
- Heat water to a slow simmer
- Remove from heat
- Add 2 bags of Purity Organic's Sleep Chamomile Tea
- Add 2 fresh leaves of mint
- Add the lemon wedge.
- Add a small pinch of turmeric powder or 3-4 drops of turmeric tincture.
- Allow to steep for 5-6 minutes until the water takes on a golden brown color and the aromatic smell of the tea is in the air.
- If Desired - Strain all solids as you pour into your favorite tea cup
- Stir in 1 Teaspoon of Ginger Soothe Colorado Hemp Honey (or to taste)
- Enjoy warm/hot!
